CDM or cash dispensing machines are everywhere! And now, EPB Employees Credit Union has a machine of its own. Recently installed in the lobby of our downtown branch, our CDM is available whenever the downtown EPB building is open. All you need is a Visa Credit or Debit card or CIRRUS network card and a PIN.

The machine provides only $20 bills, but does NOT take deposits. Balance inquiries are available, but not recommended. Processing is done in batches, therefore, the balance shown on the screen may not be the actual balance in your account.

The CDM is available to anyone. Currently, it will accept any Visa credit or debit card or CIRRUS network card, whether or not the user is a member of this credit union and whether or not the card was issued by this credit union.

We are currently not charging fees. However, we soon will be charging a fee if the card being used is not an EPB Employees Credit Union issue. The fee amount has not been set as yet, but will probably be $2.00 per transaction. Notice will be provided at the machine before the fee process begins.

Have your card and PIN readily available. Make sure the screen says "Welcome to EPB Employees Credit Union." Quickly insert and withdraw (swipe) the card in the slot, face up - top of card near the wall. Hold onto the card the whole time as the machine does not retract or keep the card. It is only reading the stripe on the back to obtain your name and card number. Keep up with your card! It will not be needed again unless you have to start a new transaction.

The screen will ask for your PIN number. Enter the appropriate number on the keyboard keys. The next screen will ask: "What Do You Want To Do? Withdraw From Checking --->, Withdraw From Savings ---> Balance Inquiry --->. Make a selection by pressing the appropriate button to the right of the arrow.

Just continue following the instructions on the screen. Please note that this machine may take up to 30 seconds to process a withdrawal or to obtain a balance. Be sure to wait for your receipt, and do not forget your card!
